Program Description
To provide health care services for the patient in their home. Responsibilities of the health care aide, differences in families, basic human needs, methods of communication record keeping, personal care, nutrition, transfer procedures home management, infection control procedures including HIV/AIDS.
Objective
To provide consistent quality care for patients in their home. Upon completion, the student should be able to perform basic skills, observe and report observations. Learn Home Management, skills, vital signs, safety and body mechanics.
